The kitchen is separate from the sitting-room and is fully-equipped: ceramic hob, combination oven-microwave, large fridge/freezer, clothes washer/dryer, coffee maker, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery & glassware. There is a separate toilet off the entrance hallway. There is also a private storage unit in the basement. The apartment has been recently painted and furnished and has a modern, contemporary feel.
The apartment is ideally situated being close to the greenery of Bois de Vincennes (15 mins walk) and the Promenade Plantee (5 mins) yet having all amenities available on your doorstep. There are plenty of good food shops and supermarkets (open Sunday morning too), bakeries, drugstores, cafes & restaurants, bookstores. It is only 15 minutes by foot to Bercy Village. There are 2 excellent nearby open-air markets: Daumesnil (Tuesdays and Friday mornings); Poniatowski (Thursday and Sunday mornings). There is a public swimming pool (Reuilly) 12 minutes away by foot. The area is non-touristy, yet is central enough that you are never far from sights, museums, parks, movie theatres etc.
Public transportation connections are excellent for both the Right and Left bank. Close to Metro lines 6 and 8, and several bus routes (29 and 64 in particular) it is only a 10 minute ride by Metro or Bus to the Bibliotheque Francois Mitterrand. There are also several Velib bike stations within 5 minutes of the apartment.
The price is 1700 euros / month (includes all utilities and charges: electricity, hot water, telephone, internet and taxe d'habitation) and we prefer 6+ month rentals. The apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. There is a 200 euro cleaning fee at the end of the lease.
